This artwork is finished with a low-sheen varnish for protection and framed in a simple contemporary black-painted wooden tray frame.

“I pass this window every day as I come through the main door of our studio building. An ex-textile mill, dated 1925, it’s full of beautiful architectural details, and this arched window is one of them. The fading winter light on that particular day was creating a range of blues through the different obscured glass panes, and I love the way the arch of the window is echoed in the bicycle wheel.”
