Workshops - Covid-19 Guidelines
Making you feel safe and comfortable so you can enjoy your workshop is, of course, my highest priority.
Out of consideration for your fellow participants, myself and the Sculpture Lounge residents, you may wish to consider taking a Lateral Flow Test before your visit. These are free and available here.
Please do not attend the workshop if you have Covid-19 or have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.
If you have Covid-19 symptoms, or have had Covid-19 symptoms in the last 10 days, we'd encourage you to take a PCR test and receive a negative result before you attend.
face masks and social distancing:
The Government Guidelines on mask wearing and social distancing changes on a regular basis, so please keep up to date on the current situation before attending the course.
We will be following whatever guidelines apply at the time of each workshop.
The maximum number of participants on each workshop is 10 people. The classroom will be set up so you have a table and easel to yourself with space around you, which you’ll keep over the entire workshop.
Weather permitting, the classroom windows will be kept open to provide adequate ventilation.
When moving around the classroom or the rest of the building, we do ask that you are respectful of other classmates and Sculpture Lounge residents who work in the building day-to-day.
Increased Cleaning:
All classroom area work surfaces, toilets and kitchen surfaces are cleaned and disinfected regularly.
If you want to bring your own mug, you're most welcome.
Hand Washing:
Please make the effort to wash your hands thoroughly on entering the building, before and after using the toilets, before eating, and on a regular basis throughout the workshops.
Hand sanitiser will be freely available for you to use - and there’s plenty of soap and hot water.
covid-19 related workshop cancellations:
- If I’m unable to run the workshop because of government restrictions/advice, I will offer all participants a credit for the same workshop at a future date.
- If you’ve booked a workshop but can't attend because you’ve tested positive or are isolating, and you let me know before the workshop starts, I will offer you a credit for the same workshop at a future date.
